Danger

  • Extensive mud baths, forays through the undergrowth, heavy scratching, rubbing, or rolling in the sand will significantly degrade the look. Sewn-on fabrics and trims are much more delicate than a pure leather or nylon strap.

If your dog spends a lot of time in water, mud, etc., we recommend a collar made of outdoor fabric, as this material is more durable than cotton!

Small care tip for beach adventures

  • Care instructions for your dog collar: After contact with salt water, such as when visiting the beach, the metal on the collar may rust. Please rinse the collar thoroughly with clean fresh water and let it dry thoroughly. This will keep it looking great and functional for longer.

Fabric collars and leashes

You can easily wash our collars by hand with mild detergent or on a gentle cycle in the washing machine (in a laundry bag). Please do not use fabric softener and do not tumble dry.

Collars and leashes made of fat leather

Oiled leather is generally a very easy-care material. The leather should be oiled as needed. Simply let wet leather air dry at room temperature. The leather will usually be a little harder afterward than before, but this will recover on its own. If the leather remains hard for a longer period of time, simply re-oil it a little.
