Train stop / Martingale:

Martingale collars are practical, attractive, and easy to use. These collars have no fasteners, so they can be easily put on and taken off over the head.

When tension is applied to the leash, the collar tightens. Metal fittings called regulators are incorporated to limit the tension. This prevents injuries to the neck area or choking the dog when it pulls on the leash. Tightening the collar also prevents the dog from slipping out of the collar when backing away. As soon as the dog stops pulling, the collar expands again. When the dog isn't pulling on the leash, the no-chuck collar is very comfortable to wear, as it sits slightly looser than traditional collars. A correctly fitted martingale no-chuck collar lies flat against the neck and is easily put on and taken off over the dog's head.

Advantages

• Easy to use: The collars have no fastener and can therefore be easily and quickly put on and taken off over the head in seconds.
• Dog breeds: Choke collars are generally suitable for all dog breeds.
• Safety factor: Perfect for anxious and insecure dogs. When adjusted correctly, it prevents the dog from slipping backward out of the collar. For anxious dogs or dogs recently adopted from animal shelters, it's extremely helpful to also equip the dog with a safety harness.

Martingale with reduced draw stop

You now have the option of getting the Martingale collar with a reduced choke. The choke and D-ring are 2.5 cm wide. This eliminates the need for a large D-ring, making the collar even lighter ;-) The choke is only available with a black webbing strap.

The reduced pull stop is only available with a 4cm or 5cm wide collar.

Danger

• Extensive mud baths, forays through the undergrowth, heavy scratching, rubbing, or rolling in the sand will significantly degrade the look. Sewn-on fabrics and trims are much more delicate than a pure leather or nylon strap.

If your dog spends a lot of time in water, mud, etc., we recommend a collar made of outdoor fabric, as this material is more durable than cotton!

Small care tip for beach adventures

• Care instructions for your dog collar: After contact with salt water, such as when visiting the beach, the metal on the collar may rust. Please rinse the collar thoroughly with clean fresh water and let it dry thoroughly. This will keep it looking great and functional for longer.

• All collars are made with a tear-resistant, sturdy 1.6mm PP webbing, feature high-quality workmanship, and ensure optimal pressure distribution under load. The seams are sewn multiple times with high-quality thread (100% polyester).

Fittings / D-ring / regulators

• The regulators and D-ring are of industrial quality and the nickel plating ensures that the closures are rust-proof and retain their chrome shine over time.

All choke and martingale collars in size XS have a D-ring one size smaller, so the D-ring is not as bulky in the smaller sizes!

• 3 cm wide collar = 2.5 cm wide D-ring
• 3.5 cm wide collar = 3 cm wide D-ring
• 4 cm wide collar = 3.5 cm wide D-ring
